You never know how “travel day” will go. And as we sat in Fresno, delayed for nearly an hour, I quietly wondered about our 90 minute Denver layover. God is good and we made it in time, though it took walking briskly 60+ gates before we could relax a little. In the end, we arrived just in time to board. Marilyn has already decided her next trip will not include a 10+# carry on tote. We had upgraded our flights to first class for that leg because it was a steal and we enjoyed the luxurious seats that reclined and even laid flat, lobster macaroni and cheese, and free drinks. Wild women that we are, we drank Diet Coke. 🙂 The New Jersey-Liverpool flight was just under 7 hours and was fine, even getting us to Liverpool about 45 minutes early.

Flying out of Fresno with a connecting flight somewhere is always dicey. Glad you made it! How’re your feet holding up?
