Packing

In between working, getting a much-needed manicure for the trip, and more work, I’ve been thinking about packing. We leave the house in approximately 18 hours. I have packed: hair dryer and electric converters so far. My hair will look good and electronics will be charged. Priorities. Clothes are mostly laid out and it’s time to make final decisions and stop second-guessing myself. Today when I held up my “dress shoes” he raised his eyebrows and said, “So you don’t have any?” Hmm. My “dress shoes” are all heels and not conducive to long tours or cobbled sidewalks, so the flats will have to work. Guys are lucky. They throw some Dockers, polo shirts, and a pair of clunky shoes in a suitcase and call it good. Women should be so lucky.

Now time to get serious about putting clothes in the suitcase.
